{priceless}

curling iron...$45

hair barrettes--$2

a grandpa trying to curl two 3 year-olds' hair? PRICELESS!

I woke up this morning (despite my dad's best intentions to let me sleep) to see my girls perched on my bathroom counter, and a curling iron clasped in my dad's hand. He actually was managing quite well, but was very relieved when I offered to finish up for him. It was sight I've never seen before (and honestly never thought I would), and tells you a little something about the kind of dad and grandpa he is!!

I wish I had a picture--but I had to get some hair done!

That is taking the man-doing-girls-hair to a whole new level! Jeff stayed home with the twins on Sunday 'cuz they were snivelly, and when we got home, they were in pink gingham dresses with their hair in perfect piggy tails, centered, on the crown of their heads. No curling iron, but I was so proud. He had to learn when he had to bring Miranda to church and meet me there (remember those days?) and his girl hair skills stuck with him. What a great dad you have!

What a sweet dad you have! I wish you could have taken pictures. That would be something your girls would love forever. I'm super impressed. Give your dad a big ole high five for me. He's awesome!
