The month of May brought the beginning of Football Saturdays! Jack, Henry, and Kate are all playing flag football, so for three hours each weekend, we're at the ball field watching them. Rick's also coaching both teams, and they have been so excited to have him right there on the sideline helping.
Kate is only one of two girls that are playing with 40+ boys, and I LOVE it. She has no qualms about it whatsoever, and loves being out there playing. She has a great spiral throw, and it's totally her thing!
The boys are enjoying it too, and I love that they are learning the technical aspects of the game while having fun. They could have played tackle football, but we aren't quite ready to let them do that yet. Maybe in a few years, but until then, they are loving this!
Sometimes three hours of football is just too much!
