Sledding!

Finally, SNOW!!!  We set records in November and December for temperature, and it had 125 years since we went through those months with no snow at all.  Not one little flake.  I was so sad! Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas with no snow. I would much rather have it at that time of year, then get it in March.

We were hoping and hoping that we would get some snow before Christmas break ended the first week of January, because Rick was still off work, and we wanted to be able to go with him.  our prayers were answered, and the very last day of Christmas vacation we got enough snow that we could actually go sledding.  Everyone was SO excited!  We bundled up, grabbed our sleds, and headed to a sledding hill near where our new house is going to be. We had such a great time, it really was the perfect ending to out holiday.

There is the most fabulous bakery near the sledding hill we went to, and they have the BEST gluten-free peanut butter cookies ever.  This is a must-stop on our way home, although I think it's going to be dangerous when it's just five minutes from where we live!
