{echo}

Overheard this week:

-"I am not happy!"

-"Too bad, so sad."

-"Calm down."

-"Take it or leave it."

-"That is dirty, we need to clean it."

There's nothing like hearing all my own words, especially when it's not even directed to me, and it's one of my girls talking to the other. At least when I hear "I love you", or "You're my best friend", I feel somewhat redeemed!

I'm glad there was no cursing there! :) So were these things all said to you? I'm trying to figure out what they would be talking about with you saying 'take it or leave it' haha. The other day I was saying something to my kiddos and they said "mom, we're right here, you don't need to talk so loud. YOU'RE TALKING LIKE THIS" ha

I love it. It brought back the memory, of my first experience with that, driving on Foothill Dr. with little Miranda in the back. I slowed the car down for some reason, and I hear this little, "C'm'on, people!"

I remember when Heidi and I were at the mall (she was about 4). She got out of the van and shut the door and said, "Oh (with a loud sigh), what a day!!!"
It sounded VERY FAMILIAR ; )

So darn funny! Your girls have been at my house (and it's no secret that my house is not quite as clean as your house) and heard a few times now: This is dirty! We need to clean it!" or "Ah-oh, we made a big mess - let's clean it up." It makes me smile very big when they do that because they are very much their mommy's girls!!! You are teaching them well, Kierste - instilling good habits. I think it's wonderful. Julie

It is when we really learn what we sound like good or bad!

This is what Charlie tells me when I ask him to do something: "Sorry, I'm busy right now" or "I don't have enough hands!"
