{a buffalo thanksgiving}

I have exactly two, not-so-good pictures of Thanksgiving.  That must mean we were having so much fun we didn't have time to take any more...and it's true!

Our good friends invited us to their HUGE family Thanksgiving dinner.  His parents live here, all six siblings but one, and their families (5-6 kids each), plus our family, and another couple families. It was busy, slightly chaotic, packed with people, and SO much fun!

We didn't have to be there until 5pm, which actually ended up being perfect. We slept in (as much as the littles would let us), and made a yummy breakfast. Rick bundled the kids up and took them to lunch and to the park for the entire afternoon, while I made the few dishes we we were taking with us, and went for a run.  Then we spent the evening eating the massive amounts of food, chatting, meeting new friends, and watching the kids play. There were at least 50 kids there, and my kids were in heaven!

We left around 9:30pm, and when we walked out, the ground was blanketed with snow, and flakes were gently coming down. It was so beautiful, and the perfect ending to a really great day!
