I've needed one for 2 months... every kind of cereal is poured out each morning, as well as taco seasoning ripped open during the day, and paper products everywhere. But I don't want to ruin the door handles (french doors - kind of awkward - I feel like they will hang on the handles if I put a lock on them). I think I'll get the triple rubberband fix I had on before. Glad to know it's not just my little monsters. =)
I taught my kids how to read a digital clock like the one on most microwaves(or should I say how to match up the numbers) and then made a little poster with the times(witht he numbers exactly the same as a digital clock) that we would have snacks and at the beginning of the day I would let them know what wonderful snack they were going to help me make if they stayed out of the snacks until the time on the poster. It stopped our sneaky little snackers!
Pantry locks are a great thing. I am confused however...your girls were "snacking" on oats???? When my kids sneak food I can promise you it is not to snack on oats!
Brook--they were using the oats as a stool to reach a higher shelf. I keep them on a lower shelf, and didn't think anything about it! Now I know better.
hahaha love it! I say give them treats to reward them for their creative and intelligent thinking...... ok maybe not! My kids don't sneak snacks, but I think it's because I get them out often enough for myself, and then share, that they don't need to... that's pathetic eh?

Ohhhh, I would love to meet your girls. They crack me up.
I just want to know what is so yummy? Are you hiding all the good treats on the third shelf?

I hear ya. We need a lock on our pantry door too. I just worry that the little buggers would figure it out in a flash.
I'm loving their new stepstool. Very clever little ones!

Hey gotta hand it to them they are very creative!!
I'm the biggest threat in our pantry ; )
They are obviously VERY CREATIVE.
I am so cheap. I just took the one off the half bath and put it on the pantry.
