My baby boys are FOUR!!! I'm seriously crying right now, lol. Really, I love this age. They crack me up every.single.day. Both of them are hysterical, and have their own cute little personalities. They definitely make life more interesting, and NEVER boring.
We call Jack "The Sheriff". He is large and in charge around this house. He is kind of like a criminal informant, who wants to make sure that all rules are obeyed and followed. If Rick leaves his shoes out, he will come tell me what Rick did, then proceed to let Rick know he has to pick them up and put them away. He kills me. He has the most adorable smile, and loves to read, his blanket, his dad (they're still bff's), helping me in the kitchen, holding his baby sister, playing outside, and riding his bike. His little voice is just the cutest, and he has the best pronunciations. I hope he never grows out of them! Well, at least for a little while. He loves to snuggle, and I hope he doesn't grow out of that anytime soon either.
Henry is still our B-Dawg. ☺ He loves to read, is obsessed with all things related to firemen, his favorite animal is a dog, he LOVES to eat, and plays the computer like a pro. He also loves to be outside, riding his scooter, playing with his legos, and anything where he doesn't have to sit down. ☺ He tells the best stories, and I love how he explains things. It makes me smile just thinking about it! He still eats me out of house and home...this kid drinks half a gallon of milk per day all by himself! He doesn't like many sweets though--no ice cream, cake, Slurpees, popsicles, or even sugar cereal. He does like cookies though, and loves to help me make them. He's super curious, loves to inspect everything, and I wonder what he's going to be when he grows up!
They had their well check appointments this week, and were excited to see how "big" the are. Henry is 100% + 2-3 standard deviations above the average size of a 4 year old. He is 4 feet tall, and weighs almost 53 pounds. Jack is on the taller side, at 70th percentile for height, and 50th for weight. They're both healthy and happy, and for that I'm grateful!!
They weren't so happy about the shots...
We celebrated their birthday a couple of times this year. We were on our trip on their actual birthday, so we had a small celebration at my parents' house after we got there. After we got back, we had an actual family birthday party, with presents, balloons, cake--the whole deal. We had their favorite dinner--cheeseburgers--and celebrated the whole day. It's funny though, when we blew out candles in Utah, we told him he was four, and that the next time he did that, he would be five. We had the cake at home, and he blew the candles out, so now he thinks he's five. ☺ We're trying to tell him otherwise, but he's pretty insistent.
We LOVE you boys, and are so happy you're a part of our family!!
