When they first place that sweet baby in your arms, your heart is full of dreams for the future. You picture them saying "mama" for the first time, holding their hand as they learn to walk, the first day of kindergarten, their baptism day, becoming a teenager, going off to college, and then marrying and having children of their own. Then you look down at that precious baby, and it seems so far away, you just can't imagine it all.
Then you go home. You are so enraptured with your darling baby and so busy with all that life is, that the days go by quickly. Then those milestones are reached before the blink of an eye, and one day, you're looking at a young man.

My parents are currently serving a mission, and were given permission by their mission president to visit us, so they could be present for Ryan's ordination. We were so glad! It was a wonderful day, and I know that none of us will never forget it.

Congratulations to Ryan! I am going to miss him in primary, but know he is ready to move on and will be in good hands in Young Mens :)
What a big day! It has been great to be here a few years and actually get to watch my friends kids grow and mature. What a great kid...young man? Wow, that sounds crazy!
Wow, how neat to see those pictures and how special that his grandparents could be there!
Yes, they grow up way too fast.
Congratulations. I'm so glad your parents were able to be there. That is wonderful.
I hope he has a great experience in Young Men's.
And I can't wait to see the progession pics when he's a missionary. I can already see his proud mama & papa... you guys are awesome. What an amazing kid he is, too.
Congratulations Ryan! It is a huge responsiblity, but I know you can do a good job keeping the covenants you make. We miss you guys. When are you going to come and visit!
